151 Swizzle

Material Components

  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce sugar syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounces black blended overproof rum
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 6 drops pernod
  • 8 ounces crushed ice

Vessel

metal swizzle cup or pilsner glass

Garnish

freshly grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick

Preparation

  1. Put everything in a blender.
  2. Blend at high speed for five seconds.
  3. Pour unstrained into a metal swizzle cup or pilsner glass.
  4. If necessary, add more crushed ice to fill.
  5. Dust with nutmeg and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
