Aku Aku Lapu

Material Components

  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce white grapefruit juice
  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 1 ounce falernum
  • 1 ounce aged column still rum
  • 1 ounce aged pot still rum
  • 1 ounce black blended overproof rum
  • 10 ounces crushed ice

Preparation

  1. Put everything into a blender.
  2. Blend at high speed for about 20 seconds.
  3. Pour into a large snifter or Tiki bowl.
  4. Add ice cubes to fill.
  5. Garnish with a gardenia.

Notes

Once you've emptied the mystical conch shell, sound it. If your heart is pure (and while your liver is distracted), you'll call the spirit of Lapu Lapu to fight at your side!
