Material Components

  • 1 1/2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce papaya nectar
  • 1/2 ounce apricot nectar
  • 3/4 ounce sugar syrup
  • 1/2 ounce falernum
  • 1 1/2 ounces aged column still rum
  • 1 ounce black blended overproof rum
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 4 ounces crushed ice

Vessel

Large Easter Island mug or large snifter

Garnish

several large mint sprigs

Preparation

  1. Put everything into a blender.
  2. Blend for no longer than ten seconds.
  3. Pour unstrained into a large Easter Island mug (or large snifter) filled with ice cubes.
  4. Add more ice to fill if necessary.

Notes

A cosmic storm of fresh lime, papaya, apricot, falernum, and rum make for a drink that's just out of this world.
