Cocoanut Grove Cocktail

Material Components

  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce coconut cream
  • 1/2 ounce orange Curaçao
  • 2 ounces lightly aged column still rum
  • 8 ounces crushed ice

Preparation

  1. Put everything in a blender.
  2. Blend for 60 seconds.
  3. Pour into coupe or champagne glasses.

Notes

We may have missed our chance to rub elbows with celebrities at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub in L.A., but we can still enjoy its namesake cocktail. This recipe serves two, so call up a friend who likes their elbows rubbed.

Rum used: El Dorado 3 Year.
