Dying Bastard

Material Components

  • 1 ounce gin
  • 1 ounce brandy
  • 1 ounce bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce lime cordial
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 4 ounces ginger beer

Vessel

double old fashioned glass

Garnish

orange slice and a mint sprig

Preparation

  1. Shake everything—except ginger beer—with ice cubes.
  2. Stir in ginger beer.
  3. Pour unstrained into a double old fashioned glass.
  4. Garnish with an orange slice and a mint sprig.

Notes

The suffering is almost over, but there's time enough for last call. Might as well add a bit of bourbon to the mix before calling it a night.
