Material Components

  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce coconut cream
  • 1 ounce seltzer
  • 1/2 ounce falernum
  • 2 ounces aged column still rum
  • 1 dash orange bitters

Vessel

Tiki Kaimuki mug or double old fashioned glass

Garnish

none

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a drink mixer tin.
  2. Fill with 12 ounces of crushed ice and 4 to 6 small "agitator" cubes.
  3. Flash blend and open pour with gated finish into a mug or double old fashioned glass.

Notes

This Smuggler's Cove recipe jumped out at me as the only one I've seen to combine two of my favorite ingredients: coconut cream and falernum. And let me just say, it does not disappoint.
