Fogg Cutter

Material Components

  • 2 ounces orange juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces sugar syrup
  • 1 ounce lightly aged column still rum
  • 1 ounce aged pot still rum
  • 1 ounce brandy
  • 1 ounce gin
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 8 ounces crushed ice

Preparation

  1. Put everything in a blender.
  2. Blend for five seconds.
  3. Pour unstrained into a tall glass or Bali Hai Fogg Cutter mug.

This recipe stands out from the rest by using lime instead of lemon, and the healthy dose of almond extract brings something new to the party. I do not, lamentably, have a Bali Hai version of the Tiki Bob mug, so instead I'm honoring another institution that is near and dear to my heart: The Kowloon Restaurant.
