Material Components

  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce sugar syrup
  • 1/2 ounce Maraschino liqueur
  • 1 1/2 ounces lightly aged pot still rum
  • 1 teaspoon pernod
  • 3 drops almond extract

Preparation

  1. Shake well with ice cubes.
  2. Strain into a coupe with an ice shell.

Notes

It may be a Beachcomber's Gold knock-off, but this cocktail is a pure, 24 karat classic.

Rum used: Privateer New England White Rum.
