Macadamia Nut Chi Chi
Material Components
- 8 ounces pineapple juice
- 2 ounces coconut cream
- 4 ounces vodka
- 2 1/2 ounces macadamia nut liqueur
Serves 2
Vessel
pilsner glass or Tiki mug
Garnish
cocktail cherry speared to a pineapple chunk
Preparation
- Put everything in a blender.
- Fill blender to the top with ice cubes.
- Blend until slushy.
- Pour unstrained into a pilsner glass or Tiki mug.
- Garnish with a cocktail cherry speared to a pineapple chunk.
Notes
The Macadamia Nut Chi Chi is unabashedly a boat drink. But as you slurp up every last delicious drop through a brightly colored straw, just ask yourself: how much do you really care?
This is a quality cocktail, but I only half filled my blender and it still felt like too much ice. Next time I might play around with a smaller amount, and substitute a light rum for the vodka.
