Macadamia Nut Chi Chi

Material Components

  • 8 ounces pineapple juice
  • 2 ounces coconut cream
  • 4 ounces vodka
  • 2 1/2 ounces macadamia nut liqueur

Serves 2

Vessel

pilsner glass or Tiki mug

Garnish

cocktail cherry speared to a pineapple chunk

Preparation

  1. Put everything in a blender.
  2. Fill blender to the top with ice cubes.
  3. Blend until slushy.
  4. Pour unstrained into a pilsner glass or Tiki mug.
  5. Garnish with a cocktail cherry speared to a pineapple chunk.

Notes

The Macadamia Nut Chi Chi is unabashedly a boat drink. But as you slurp up every last delicious drop through a brightly colored straw, just ask yourself: how much do you really care?

This is a quality cocktail, but I only half filled my blender and it still felt like too much ice. Next time I might play around with a smaller amount, and substitute a light rum for the vodka.
