Material Components

  • 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce sugar syrup
  • 3/4 ounce coffee brandy
  • 1 ounce lightly aged column still rum
  • 1 1/2 ounces aged pot still rum

Preparation

  1. Shake with crushed ice.
  2. Pour into a Mr. Bali Hai mug.

Notes

This world weary man has an expression that says, "I have seen it all, and I am not impressed." It is the right look for the times. But what *is* impressive is the drink itself. Coffee brandy, rum, lemon, and pineapple work surprisingly well together.

Rums used: Bacardi Heritage 1909 and Pusser's Blue Label.
