Never Say Die

Material Components

  • 1/4 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce orange juice
  • 1/2 ounce grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 ounce honey mix
  • 1/2 ounce lightly aged column still rum
  • 1/2 ounce aged pot still rum
  • 1 ounce lightly aged blended rum
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 4 ounces crushed ice

Pearl Diver glass or wine goblet

Garnish

Preparation

  1. Put everything in a blender.
  2. Blend at high speed for five seconds.
  3. Pour unstrained into a Pearl Diver glass or wine goblet.

Notes

This delicious classic is made with two types of spirits: rum, and can-do. It's just the thing to get you through these trying times!

It kills me to post this without the appropriate garnish in the photo, but tropical leaves are hard to come by in Massachusetts during COVID-19 lockdown. I promise to come back to this one eventually.
