Oahu Gin Sling

Material Components

  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce créme de cassis
  • 1/2 ounce Bénédictine
  • 1 teaspoon sugar syrup
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 3 ounces club soda

Preparation

  1. Shake everything—except soda—with ice cubes.
  2. Add the soda to the shaker and stir.
  3. Pour unstrained into a pilsner glass.
  4. If necessary, add more ice to fill.
  5. Garnish with a lime spiral, made by cutting a continuous strip of rind peeled from the top to the bottom of a large lime.
  6. Place the spiral in the glass, hooking it to the rim.
