Triumverate Punch

Material Components

  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce passion fruit honey
  • 1/4 ounce pimento dram
  • 1 1/2 ounces unaged pot still rum
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Multiply the ingredient quantities by the number of guests.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a beverage dispenser or other sealable container.
  3. Whisk together.
  4. Chill for one to two hours prior to serving.
  5. Add large blocks of ice to dispenser or serve over a large block or smaller blocks of ice in a punch bowl.
  6. Garnish individual servings with mint.

Notes

Regal in bearing, noble in aspect, this one has it all: citrus, spice, and funk. This is my go-to party punch and it's always a hit.

Rum used: Privateer New England White Rum Reserve.
