Material Components

  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce lightly aged blended rum
  • 1 ounce Bärenjäger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Stroh

Preparation

  1. Shake well with ice cubes.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe.

Notes

Gott im Himmel, das ist gut! Stroh is nothing short of magical, clocking in at 160 proof and tasting like pure butterscotch. In the Von Tiki, it gets combined with Bärenjäger and rum to make what might just be my new favorite short drink.

Rum used: El Dorado 3 Year.
